Hi! I’m Lauren, thanks for visiting Ephemera Botanicals. I’ve spent a good chunk of my life wandering around picking flowers, literally and metaphorically. A number of seemingly unrelated events ultimately culminated in Ephemera Botanicals including work service in an herbarium my freshman year of college, picking up a plant pressing hobby many years later, and discovering the delicate beauty of resin jewelry. After years of admiring, collecting, and coveting botanical resin jewelry, I finally decided to learn how make them myself, and have been creating unique pieces ever since.

My day job is as a professor and biomedical researcher, and I play with dogs and flowers in my free time.
